This Small Body Flat Top Guitar Is Unique

My brother and I built the M-56 together and damn near killed each other in the process. The back was from another luthier who passed on, and I wanted to incorporate the East Indian Rosewood into my brother’s instrument. This piece of Sitka Spruce was one of the first pieces of spruce that I ever bought from Constantine’s in the Bronx, New York. It was 45 years old when we built this guitar. It was so much fun working with Mike on this. Mike is an incredible craftsman, photographer, and he did just about all of the photography on this website. I will forever he grateful for all of his efforts and artistry, so it was an honor to work with him to build this incredible guitar.
