This Thinline Jumbo Guitar is called The Owl

I built ‘The Owl’ for myself, since the owl is one of my spirit birds. Also the Brazilian Rosewood back has an owl face on it, which is incredibly rare. This is very old growth Rosewood, and I still have a piece of it left in my shop. I tap on it and show people that it sounds similar to metal or ceramic it is so dense. People cannot believe that it is wood. The sides are the same tree, and the figuring on the sides is so beautiful. It perfectly compliments the back. I went all out with every detail of this instrument, including putting an overlay on the side of the headstock as well as choosing woods that I wanted to incorporate into the sound that I was looking to achieve. The tightly grained European Spruce top was chosen carefully to compliment the rare Brazilian Rosewood. The raised pick guard and extremely high bridge and saddle contribute to a completely different tone and timbre. This guitar is #57 and I was born in 1957.
